Local woman trains dogs to help people who need assistance

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Service dogs play a daily role in the lives of many people with mental or physical issues.

Patty Spitler from Pet Pals TV introduces us to a woman who spends six months training puppies to become service dogs right here in Indiana.

All Canine Companions for Independence are provided to approved clients free of charge. There is a waiting list, so you have to be patient.
