1 hurt, 1 dead after 38th Street shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One man was injured and another man died after a shooting Monday night on the city’s northeast side.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. near the McDonalds in the 2400 block of East 38th Street. That’s near Keystone Avenue.

Police officials say both victims were shot inside of a car. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 38-year-old Troy Grayson.

A second victim was taken to Sydney & Lois Eskenazi Health in serious but stable condition.

No suspect or motive information was available Tuesday afternoon.
