Salvation Army meets collection goal

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Salvation Army can say: Merry Christmas, Monday night.

The agency says the red kettle collections – and other donations – exceeded the goal for the latest holiday fund drive.

The Salvation Army says it collected more than $3.2 million for the 2013 campaign.

The Indiana commander said they are “humbled” by the generosity of donors in Indiana, and say that the support will enable the Salvation Army to help more people this year provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
