Police seek suspects after Franklin armed robbery

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Franklin have released surveillance pictures of an armed robbery that happened at a local gas station this week.

Franklin Police responded to the Admiral Gas Station, located at 237 West Jefferson Street, around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday to the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Officers learned two men entered the store and demanded money–one suspect had a handgun.

The suspects left the store with an unknown amount of money and fled northbound on foot, across Jefferson Street and through an alley. Officers quickly arrived, but were unable to find the suspects.

Police say the first suspect is described as a white male, slender build. The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ with a medium build. Both suspects’ faces were covered during the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Franklin City Police at 317-346-1145.
