WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Purdue University officials said the Boilermaker community has been asking how to best express their support in wake of last Tuesday’s tragic event on Purdue’s campus.
The university said it received many suggestions, among those were apparel and other wearable items. Out of respect for the family, Purdue suspended any charitable activities until Andrew Boldt’s family could be consulted.
Purdue announced Friday that the Boldts are in support of a “Boiler Strong” T-shirt to benefit the Andrew Boldt Cary Racing Scholarship Fund.
The T-shirts will be produced by Freckles Graphics. The shirts are $10 and will be on sale at University Book Store, 360 W. State St., in West Lafayette. All proceeds will benefit the Andrew Boldt Cary Racing Scholarship Fund, our sister station WLFI reports.
Anyone interested in further supporting the fund can make gifts payable to the Purdue Foundation, with “Andrew Boldt Cary Racing Scholarship Fund” in the memo line.
