Man robbed during truck breakdown

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Westfield Police are investigating the armed robbery of a man who had just pulled off the roadway with vehicle troubles Thursday evening.

Police say the man pulled his vehicle into an apartment complex in the 800 block of South Union Street. As the victim was raising the hood of his truck, he says he was approached by two black males. One stuck a gun in his face and demanded everything he had.

After the victim handed over his wallet containing a small amount of cash and his ID, the suspects fled north on foot. The victim was not hurt.

The armed subject was described as being approximately 5′ 8″ tall and wearing a blue jacket and black stocking cap. The second subject was described as being 5′ 6″ tall.
