INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – 24-Hour News 8’s Jim Shella had a one-on-one interview with Gov. Mike Pence.

Pence talked about the proposed permanent ban on gay marriage, which passed the Indiana House last week and is now heading to the state Senate. Pence comments on what he would like changed in the amendment.

As it stands now, the marriage amendment would lead to a referendum in 2016. If the second sentence is restored, the referendum will go on the ballot this November.
