IU drops summer discount program

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana University is ending its 25 percent discount on summer tuition at its Bloomington campus.

But it’s just in Bloomington – IU will continue the discount at its six regional campuses.

School officials say the discount program, which started in 2012, didn’t keep many students on the Bloomington campus. But regional campuses have seen summer enrollment increases. For example, Kokomo’s campus has seen a 13 percent jump.
