LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WISH) – According to a video from 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Logansport Pharos-Tribune,  an ice jam forced water in the Wabash River to rise dangerously fast.

The river level hit eight feet Wednesday and forced some residents west of Logansport to evacuate because of flooding concerns.

Once the ice moved down river, the Wabash returned to it’s normal flow and they were able to return home.
