Rushville schools moves graduation back a week

RUSHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Due to a large amount of snow days, Rushville Consolidated High School seniors will graduate a week later than expected.

Graduation was originally scheduled for June 1 but was pushed back to June 8, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Rushville Republican reports.

The school corporation built in four snow days but as of Feb. 5, they have had nine for the year. Two of those days were waivered.

The last day of school is scheduled for May 28 unless the school has to cancel additional days between Wednesday and the end of the school year.
