Man suspected in 10 business robberies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man with a monitoring device who’s on probation for robbery was arrested on Wednesday in connection to a robbery.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials say they believe the man, 23-year-old Justin Cherry, might be responsible for 10 robberies of businesses since the end of January.

Cherry’s arrest this week was on preliminary charges for just one of those robberies — the Speedway gas station at 2954 S. Holt Road. The Marion County prosecutor’s office will decide what charges to file.
