INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Carmel-based Mainstreet is unveiled plans Friday morning to create thousands of jobs throughout Central Indiana.
Arlington Place is billed as the next generation of health care. The state of the art recovery center will take its first patient March 5.
The facility, located at 16th and Arlington on Indianapolis’ east side, is billed as a medical resort featuring multiple dining options, a spa, movie theatre and art and music classes…
“Everybody that ends up here will probably will have some sort of hospital stay, but as soon as a point as they’re stable, they can go to a better environment to rehab and recover,” Mainstreet CEO Zeke Turner said. “They would come here and it would be about a third of the cost of what it is in the hospital.”
Arlington Place will employ 125 people. Mainstreet will open other facilities this year in Kokomo, Lafayette, South Bend, Terre Haute and Indianapolis.
The company says over the next three years it will create 3,000 permanent jobs with a total financial impact in the billions.
