INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Colts have made another off-season addition, this time on the Coaching Staff.

Rob Chudzinski has been hired as “Special Assistant to the Head Coach”.

Chudzinski, who most recently was the Head Coach of the Cleveland Browns in 2013, and Head Coach Chuck Pagano have a history of coaching together.  The two have previously spent eight seasons together between the University of Miami and the Cleveland Browns.

“Rob and I have a long professional relationship and his résumé speaks for itself,” said Head Coach Chuck Pagano. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and will be a tremendous help to our entire team moving forward.  Needless to say, we’re excited to have ‘Chud’ joining our family.”

Chudzinski began his NFL coaching career in 2004 as the Tight Ends Coach for the Cleveland Browns, and has made stops with the Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.  He graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in business administration in 1990 and went on to earn his MBA in 1996. Chudzinski and his wife, Sheila, have two sons, Kaelan and Rian, and one daughter, Margaret.
