I-65 south reopened after serious crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Interstate 65 south near 71st Street was reopened Saturday morning after a serious crash closed he highway for an hour and half.

Indiana State Police officials say a van flipped on its side around 11 a.m. near mile marker 126.4, which is near the Marion County/Boone County line.

Officials say seven passengers were inside the van. Injuries were reported. The number and extent of those injuries was not immediately released.

Traffic on I-65 at the 129 mile marker was being diverted to Interstate 865. The highway was shut down south of I-865.
