Morning snow brings light accumulations

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A wave of snow moved through central Indiana Sunday morning and brought some light accumulating snow.

Areas north of Interstate 70 could see 1 to 2 inches of accumulation. Snow totals to areas south of I-70 will most likely see an inch or less.

Pockets of lake effect flurries and snow showers may fall Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid-20s Sunday. They will fall into the low teens Sunday night. A wind chill will make it feel like temperatures are in the single digits.

By Monday morning, temperatures could drop to near, or below zero.  Highs Monday will only reach the teens.

Tuesday morning will start off below zero and only reach the teens again for afternoon highs.  Milder air  will build in by late-week.
