INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indiana State Fairgrounds went to the dogs this weekend.
The Hoosier Kennel Club wrapped up its annual Indy Winter Classic Dog Show Sunday. Breeds of all kinds filled the pavillion for the four day event.
Organizers say many beginner showers gave it their all next to professional handlers who stopped through Indiana before the Westminster dog show this week in New York.
“They’re working as hard as them handlers even harder because they know that they have to be the best that they can be to compete and it’s very interesting and it’s very good when they get to win because they’re right up there with the top,” Scott West, president of the Hoosier Kennel Club said.
Around 1,900 hundred dogs were judged Sunday alone.
