Franklin police investigate armed robbery

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Franklin are investigating after a local business was robbed by a man with a gun.

Officers with Franklin Police were called to the Check into Cash, located at 1924 Northwood Plaza, around 5:30 p.m. Monday to the report of a business alarm.

Police learned the business had just been robbed at gunpoint by a suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall black male, weighting around 200 pounds and wearing a mask. He was wearing a red T-shirt and a grey hooded sweatshirt with dark colored pants and shoes. He also wore a black ski mask. The man left the store with an unknown amount of money.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Franklin Police at 317-346-1144.
