INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One of the two men accused of killing a pizza delivery driver in Indianapolis and then going to Wyoming had his initial court appearance on Tuesday.
Derek Romano appeared in court Tuesday morning. Authorities tell 24-Hour News 8 the other suspect, Jeremiah Roberts, is on suicide watch, so he did not appear before the judge.
Officers brought Roberts and Romano back to Indianapolis last week. Police arrested the two in Buffalo, Wyoming days after officers say they killed pizza delivery driver John Sullivan.
Sullivan’s body was found in the basement of an animal rescue. Officers say his co-workers called police when he did not return from a delivery.
