Police: 4 invaded home, attacked pregnant woman

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Lafayette are investigating after a woman reported a home invasion Thursday morning.

According to a news release, the incident occurred in the 2500 block of Eckman Place around 2:33 a.m.

A woman at the home told police three black men and one white woman wearing dark clothing and masks forced their way into her apartment.

Officials say the woman, who is pregnant, was assaulted. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was later released from an area hospital. After the attack, the suspects left the home with several items.

Later Thursday, police arrested and charged three men they believe were involved in the attack. Those men have been identified as Jaaz Jones, Lawrence Anderson and Cortez Collins.
