Two injured in school bus crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two people were injured in a school bus accident in Montgomery County Friday afternoon. It was one of two school bus accidents in the area Friday.

Our partners at the Paper of Montgomery County report the first accident occurred along US 231 and 580 North and involved a North  Montgomery school bus. Officials say the bus was stopped when it was rear-ended by a pick up truck.

State police officials say three people were transported to Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health-Crawfordsville.

The second school bus crash occurred on US 231 and 400 North. Officials say the bus and a car were southbound and turning left onto CR 400 South and the driver of the car could not stop her car in time. That car slid underneath the school bus.
