Police: Pair burglarized home twice

TRAFALGAR, Ind. (WISH) – Police officials in Johnson County say two people were arrested Thursday after burglarizing the same house twice.

Wednesday, police were sent to a home in the 4000 block of West State Road 135 on a report of stolen hand and power tools.

The people inside the garage then hopped into a sport-vehicle and drove away, hitting the homeowners car and a tree on the way out.

The pair then got out of the car and ran, but were later caught by police officers. Inside the sport-vehicle, officers found several items taken from the house and the tools that were stolen the day before.

The pair has been identified as Richard Lee Moore, 48, and Latease Laurette Coddington, 36. They have been arrested and charged with burglary and possession of methamphetamine.
