INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Seven people were taken to local hospitals Monday afternoon after a pickup truck and an SUV collided on the city’s east side.

IMPD officials say around 3:30 p.m., a Kia Sorrento was driving north on Edmonson Avenue, failed to yield and collided with a F350 truck that was driving east on 46th Street.

Six people were taken to Sydney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and one person was taken to Community East Hospital. Police say everyone taken to the hospital was in stable condition and there were no serious injuries.
