US 31 re-opened after semi jackknifed

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A jackknifed semi caused some traffic issues in Hamilton County on Tuesday morning.

According to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, northbound US 31 at 266th Street was completely blocked because of the semi.

The roadway was shut down while crews removed the truck.

US 31 was re-opened to traffic around 8:15 a.m. There were no injuries reported. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
