Officer pulls over truck driven by man wanted for attempted murder

HENRY CO., Ind. (WISH) – A man wanted on four counts of attempted murder out of Athens, Ga. was arrested Tuesday in Henry County after being pulled over for following a vehicle too closely.

The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division sergeant pulled the white 2005 Freightliner Tractor Trailer over on Interstate 70 in Henry County. The driver did not have a log book and was in possession of alcohol, which was in the passenger compartment.

The officer also found out the driver, Darryl M. Suggs, age 49 of St. Louis, Mo., was wanted for attempted murder charges. He was arrested and was awaiting extradition on Tuesday.
