Black ice reported on Boone Co. roadways

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – The Boone County Sheriff’s Office sent out a warning for drivers Friday morning that black ice was on several roadways in the county.

According to the sheriff’s office, US 421 was closed due to several crashes on US 421 between 100 S and 200 S. That part of the roadway was re-opened around 7:30 a.m.

SR 32 at 400 West and SR 32 at 300 East are covered in ice.
