One dead, one critical after stabbing

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD officials say one man is dead and another is in critical condition after being stabbed early Saturday morning at a home on the city’s west side.

It happened around 4 a.m. in the 100 block of Welcome Way Boulevard near Girls School Road and Rockville Road.

When officers arrived, they found two men who had been stabbed. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Health in critical condition.

Police say the two are related. Their exact relationship was not immediately released.

Detectives spent the early part of Saturday morning interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. They were not looking for any suspects as of Saturday morning.
