1.5M lbs. of dirt brought into LOS for race

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Crews were busy Wednesday morning getting Lucas Oil Stadium ready for Saturday’s Monster Energy Supercross Race.

Trucks started bringing loads of dirt into the stadium on Wednesday. When all is said and done, more than 1.5 million pounds of dirt will cover the floor of the stadium. It will take about 500 truckloads to complete the task.

This will be the 23rd time Indianapolis has hosted the event. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. The main event starts at 7 p.m.
