Police find burglary suspect, cash after chase

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested one person following a chase and foot pursuit of a suspect in a break-in at a northwest side bar.

Police were alerted to a burglary at Memories Bar and Grill in the 7800 block of North Michigan Road shortly before 5 a.m. Monday. Police chased a vehicle before the suspect’s vehicle spun out around West 56th Street and Ditch Road. At that point, police began to chase the suspect on foot.

The suspect was apprehended around 5:15 a.m. in the 5800 block of Sebring Court. Officers say they recovered cash believed to be taken in the burglary.
