INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indiana dog breeder is facing animal cruelty charges in Ohio.

In January, police in Licking County, Ohio say they found a broken down van with 62 dogs inside. The dogs were in poor health and covered in urine and feces.

The dogs were traced to Jonas Fisher, a dog breeder in Williamsburg, Ind.

Fisher and two other people who prosecutors say were transporting the dogs were all charged with animal cruelty. Fisher is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
