19-year-old injured in accidental shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 19-year-old was injured in an accidental shooting Friday morning on the near northwest side of Indianapolis, police officials said.

The teen was shot at a home in the 2900 block of Moreland Avenue. A 17-year-old was driving the victim in a car when the two flagged down police near 30th Street and Guion Road.

The 19-year-old was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Health in good condition. Police took the 17-year-old in for questioning.
