Indiana Attorney General will defend the state’s marriage law against federal lawsuit

Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller says his office will defend Indiana’s statutory marriage definition from a legal challenge filed in federal court.

Four same-sex couples from southern Indiana are suing to overturn Indiana’s ban on gay marriage.  They also want to recognize same-sex marriages from other states.

Attorney General Zoeller appeared on Daybreak Saturday to discuss the State’s response.
