Suspect flees after Darlington bank robbery

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Montgomery County are looking for a suspect they say robbed a bank in Darlington and then fled the scene.

According to police, the Fountain Trust Bank was robbed around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say the suspect, described as a white male, approximately 6 foot tall and 180-200 pounds, walked into the bank and displayed a handgun.

The man took an unknown amount of cash, and was last seen westbound from the bank on Main Street. Police say he was in a dark colored vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
