Edinburgh-area residents warned of explosion sounds

EDINBURGH, Ind. (WISH) – Edinburgh-area residents are being warned of explosion sounds.

24-Hour News 8’s news gathering partner the Republic reports the sounds are due to increased military training activity at Camp Atterbury’s Joint Maneuver Training Center.

Officials say the noise could continue into the evening hours. The training is set to continue until Tuesday.
