Video: Canal goes green for St. Patrick’s Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Friday evening, the first of Indy’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities took place along the Canal Walk downtown.

24-Hour News 8 was there for the 18th annual Greening of the Canal.

On Monday, the city will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a parade and festival. The festival is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Vermont Street between Pennsylvania and Meridian.  The parade kicks off at 11 a.m.
