Indiana’s Hartman injures knee during workout

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Indiana forward Colin Hartman injured his right knee during a workout Saturday and is out indefinitely.

In a release, the athletic department said the freshman would undergo more evaluation over the next 24 hours before making a full diagnosis.

Hartman has played sparingly this season. The Indianapolis native has appeared in just 16 games, averaging 4.5 minutes, 0.7 points and 0.9 rebounds.

The injury occurred two days after the Hoosiers (17-15) were eliminated in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. Indiana is now waiting to see if it will get into a postseason tournament with the NIT being the most likely.
