Suspects at large after armed robbery on city’s west side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis are searching for two suspects Sunday morning after an armed robbery on the city’s west side, near the Indianapolis International Airport.

Officers say it happened in the 9000 block of West Washington Street around 7:35 a.m. Police say two men, one armed with a handgun, walked into a gas station and displayed the weapon.

It’s unclear if anything was taken, but police say no one was hurt.

The men drove away in a blue Chevy Tahoe. They were last seen heading eastbound on Washington.

Robbery detectives were responding to the scene. Shortly before 11:30 a.m. Sunday, the men were still at large.
