1. Running/walking can be a good exercise for diabetics, but before starting an exercise program consult with your doctor.
2. Maintain good hydration.
3. Always have a carbohydrate during and after a run/walk
4. Wear identification that states you are a diabetic.
5. If possible, always run/walk with a partner.
