Indy celebrates St. Patrick’s Day downtown

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After a St. Patrick’s Day weekend that started with the greening of the Canal Friday and the Shamrock Run Saturday, the parade and block party are Monday, rain or shine.

The block party runs Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Vermont Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania Streets.

A beer garden will be set up for anyone over 21; everyone is invited to check out food vendors and bands.

The block party is free to attend.

The parade kicks off Monday at 11:30 a.m. at North and Pennsylvania Streets downtown and passes by the block party.
