Jim Irsay arrested in Carmel

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Hamilton County Jail officials and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirms Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts, was arrested in Carmel late Sunday night.

Officials say the arrest happened at 11:41 p.m.

Irsay was preliminarily charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

He was booked into the Hamilton County Jail. The bond for Irsay was set at $22,500. Officials say a cash bond was posted for his release.

Irsay was released from jail around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
