DPW: More than 11,000 potholes patched since December

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) -The Department of Public Works says they are still focused on fixing potholes on residential streets.

There are still about 2,700 potholes waiting to be fixed across Indianapolis.The city of Indianapolis says although there is still work to be done, crews have made progress.

According to a release from DPW Friday, workers have patched more than 11,000 potholes since December.

Saturday, the Department of Public Works says it will have 16 different teams attacking potholes on residential streets. Workers will continue to check on other areas daily.

Residents can report potholes here or by calling the Mayor’s Action Center at 327-4MAC.
