INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Republicans can meet with state and local leaders such as Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann to help draft the region’s party platform.

The Indiana Republican Party says in a statement that all Republicans are invited to join elected state and local officials in a series of public hearings to craft a stance on the most pressing political issues.

Ellspermann is chairing five statewide meetings with Indianapolis City-County Council Minority Leader Mike McQuillen.

The first meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. March 27 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Merrillville. Four more meetings are set through April 22 in Fort Wayne, Jeffersonville, Indianapolis and Evansville.
