Police looking for two robbery suspects

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis are asking for the public’s help in finding two men wanted for robbery.

According to a release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a female victim told officers she was driving eastbound in the 4500 block of Washington Street on February 10 when she heard something hit her car.

The woman told police she pulled over near an apartment complex to check the damage. That is when two men in their 20s came up behind her and grabbed her around the neck. She told police one of the men displayed a gun and demanded cash.

The woman said she gave the men her cash and they took off running. The woman was not injured in the incident.

One of the suspects was described as a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with dark blue jeans, black stocking cap, black zip up jacket and dark gloves.

The second suspect was described as a light skinned black man with dark blue jeans, red shirt with white lettering, blue zip up jacket, and dark stocking cap with a white design on it.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Indiana at 317|262-TIPS (8477).
