Police: Teens arrested after man attacked, robbed

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) – Two teenage boys were arrested in Lafayette after police say they attacked and robbed a man.

The man says he was walking along Erie Street, near Vinton Street just before 9 p.m. Saturday when two boys attacked him and took his wallet.

Officers found the 15-year-old and 16-year-old suspects a short time later and arrested them. The man’s wallet was also found.

Police say the man did suffer some injuries but refused any medical treatment.
