INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Local WNBA star Katie Douglas is moving on from the Indiana Fever.

Douglas, who missed most of 2013 with an injury, has signed with the Connecticut Sun. It will mark her 14th season in the WNBA.

The Sun drafted Douglas initially, but traded her to the Fever. She played high school basketball at Perry Meridian before going on to play at Purdue University, winning the NCAA title in 1999.

Fever officials had kind words for Douglas, wishing her well with the new team.
