INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Kroger and Gleaners Food Bank is teaming up with Indiana scouts for the 28th annual Scouting for Food.

Now until April 19, Boy and Girl Scouts will be collecting food door to door and in Kroger stores, where collection bins have been placed.

There are pre-bagged donations or shoppers can donate their own non-perishable items.

Last year almost 80,000 meals were given to hungry Hoosiers. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
