Police release surveillance video of gun shop theft

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police have released surveillance video from a gun shop where thieves took $13,000 worth of weapons.

The video shows two men inside C&C Midwestern Firearms on Crawfordsville Road. It shows one of the men using what looks like a hammer to break display cases. He then fills his bag full of handguns.

Another camera shows the second man jumping over the counter and taking several long guns. They were gone in about two minutes but got away 31 weapons.

The crime happened early Saturday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
