INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Pike Township woman won Indianapolis Colts season tickets by going to the library Thursday afternoon.

Melanie Ohlsen was randomly chosen as the winner of the “Super Read Challenge.”

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen and the Indianapolis Public Library started the project as a way to encourage children and adults to read more books, especially about black history during the month of February.

Allen was presented with a special book signed by the author to thank him for his work with the program.

He told 24-Hour News 8 the cause is special to him because it reminds him of growing up.
