Bank, beauty supply store damaged in fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) —  Seventy Indianapolis firefighters battled a fire at a south side shopping center Friday morning that left an estimated $200,000 in damages.

Four businesses were damaged in the fire, which started for an unknown reason at Sally Beauty Supply. BMO Harris Bank was also damaged, along with two unknown tenants, Indianapolis Fire Department officials said.

The fire began around 8 a.m. at Southern Plaza, which is near U.S. 31 and Interstate 465.
