Suspect flees after man stabbed at gas station

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police dispatchers with IMPD say a suspect fled after a man was stabbed at a gas station early Saturday morning.

It happened at the Admiral gas station, located in the 1400 block of East Washington Street, around 3:15 a.m.

Police say a man was stabbed at the gas station. The circumstances surrounding the incident weren’t immediately clear.

Dispatchers say the suspect, whose description wasn’t available, fled toward downtown. Police said shortly before 6 a.m. that no apprehension had been made in the incident.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
