Power outage prompts school closure in Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — 10th Street Elementary School in Anderson had to close on Thursday because of a power outage, Anderson Community Schools officials said.

Many students hadn’t arrived when school officials made the decision to close. Those who had arrived were sent home with parents.

School officials said the power outage was related to weather. School is expected to be open again on Friday.
